About This Site

On April 24, 2025, the Iowa Board of Regents approved Board Policy 3.20, Syllabi Posting and Notification of Students on Class Content. This policy requires Regent universities to provide public access to key syllabus information for undergraduate courses.

This site helps fulfill that requirement by making course syllabus information easily available to students, families, and the public.

What Information is Available

For each applicable undergraduate course, the following information is provided:

  • Course title and number
  • Course description, including learning objectives
  • General outline of course topics
  • List of required textbooks, readings, and materials
  • Overview of assessment types (e.g., exams, papers, projects, experiential learning)

Syllabi are posted by faculty and become available on this site as they are submitted. Required syllabus information must be published no later than the first day of classes for the academic term in which the course is offered.

Only syllabi from the current academic term are available.
